Rotterdam/Aachen, february 2nd 2012. CYMTV B.V. and nablet GmbH have made an agreement to jointly deliver a transcoding and streaming head-­‐end for CYMTV’s P2P-­‐based streaming solution. The agreement includes the development of a live transcoder with an output format that has been optimized for CYMTV’s P2P streaming solution for PC clients, set-­‐top boxes and mobile devices. nablet´s CYMTV transcoder takes live IP streams as input and converts them to configurable formats and bitrate streams.

CYMTV has acquired the STB middleware that was developed by AHT for STmicroelectronics-based Set-Top Boxes. With the combination of this middleware, CYMTV's smart streaming solution and several other upcoming innovative components, CYMTV will offer a full multimedia-capable platform for the ST710x-based family of SoC's by STM.

German-based Coastec GmbH has signed a distribution agreement with RTL Group GmbH that will enable Coastec to broadcast the RTL channels RTL, VOX, RTL 2, Super RTL and n-tv over a closed IP-network to viewers in Vietnam.

Coastec.TV will offer a basic package of channels with additional options for more TV and radio channels, as well as a range of on-demand content.

On thursday june 23rd, CYMTV B.V. presented their streaming technology at the Mediapark Jaarcongres in Hilversum, the Netherlands together with their Benelux Distributor MediaCentraal.

CYMTV's Benelux distributor MediaCentraal is hosting a test-broadcast of the Badminton event from Zwolle, the Netherlands on june 18th & 19th 2011.

The stream can be followed by clicking here and installing the free plug-in. Currently the plug-in is only available for Windows PC's with Internet Explorer.

Rotterdam, march 11th 2011 – Netherlands-based CYMTV B.V. has signed a memorandum of understanding with Vietnam’s Hanelcom to jointly build a new IP-based television service for Vietnam.

The new service will be called “HanelTV” and will become available for TV (using the new Hanel set-top box), PC, Smartphone and Tablet.

The main technology used will be CYMTV’s private cloud streaming product, which ensures high-quality video content to be securely streamed over the open internet.

CYMTV's iOS 4.2 client for iPhone is ready. Below you can see a first (raw) shot of CCTV being streamed from China over the CYMTV private cloud (p2p network) to an iPhone 4 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
